Fashion in Business (FIB) is a student organization at the David Eccles School of Business that aims to create a safe and open environment for students to explore and learn about the various facets of the fashion industry. FIB is a club for everyone, with more than 450 members.
To foster an environment that promotes learning, collaboration, and innovation across the intersections of fashion, FIB provides student opportunities focused on interactive learning. It’s an excellent way to gain the skills and build the network necessary to succeed in the diverse and evolving fashion world.
Our main annual event is a collaborative fashion show. A minimum of 50 students are involved in designing, modeling, and running the show. FIB also hosts events throughout the semester, from educational panels to skill workshops and social activity-based events. Examples include embroidery and Adobe workshops and speaker panels with local fashion leaders. These events help members build resumes, add to their online portfolios, and make connections. All events are free and open to anyone who shares a love for fashion.
