The Ph.D. program at the David Eccles School of Business prepares students for faculty positions at leading research universities through the development of specialized knowledge necessary to conduct scholarly research and to be effective teachers. Each program is tailored to the individual student’s interests and supervised by faculty who specialize in their fields. The Ph.D. program takes approximately four to five years of full-time study to complete. College graduates from all disciplines are encouraged to apply. Advanced degrees are not required.
