Transfer students have attended other colleges or universities and completed 30 or more credits. Therefore, their admission process is unique: it is based on college-level credit rather than their high-school performance. Have questions? Make an appointment with an academic advisor.

Apply for Admission to the University of Utah

Visit the Office of Admissions website to view application deadlines, apply for admission to the University of Utah and pay the application fee. Send your official transcript(s) to the Office of Admissions electronically or by mail.

Pay Enrollment Deposit to Confirm Intent

Register for Transfer New Student Orientation

Register for Transfer New Student Orientation. As a new student, you are required to attend this orientation and must do so before you can enroll.

Meet with Your Academic Advisor

Schedule an appointment with your academic advisor. In addition to helping you review your transfer credits, your advisor will introduce you to the academic programs and resources in the David Eccles School of Business.

Attend Transfer New Student Orientation

Send Your Final Transcript(s) to the Office of Admissions

Once your final grades are posted at your transfer institution(s), send your official transcript(s) to the Office of Admissions electronically or by mail.
