Jacob Clark is a senior Business Scholar persuing a degree in Finance. Recently, he shared how the Business Scholar Program made him a superior candidate in obtaining internships within the finance industry. This summer Jacob will be interning full-time with the Bank of Montreal (BMO) in San Francisco.
“Business Scholars has been an integral part in obtaining my internship this summer with BMO Capital Markets as well as my past internships with both Merrill Lynch and Northgate Capital, a private equity shop in San Francisco. I think Business Scholars helped me in two ways. One was the professional development that occurred during business scholars through company visits and case studies. I became extremely comfortable speaking with company executives and professionals in the business world. Also, looking back at the recruitment process for these internships, Business Scholars was a key talking point for me and essential in telling why I was the ultimate candidate for the position. Why I was superior to Harvard and Stanford candidates came down to the experience I gained through the Business Scholar Program.”
