Innovation Showcase
Business Scholars spend a semester developing a new invention or business venture that solves issues about which they feel passionate. Students work together to create an entire kick starter plan and pitch, including prototypes, marketing, budget, etc.
At the end of the semester, Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute, a world-renowned Entrepreneur Facility at the University, hosts the Business Scholars Innovation Showcase, where students compete for “Best Idea”, “Best Pitch”, “Best Prototype”, and “Best Branding”. By participating in this experience, students get first-hand knowledge of the excitement and challenges of developing an idea into a business venture.
