Business Scholars Cohorts
The Business Scholars program offers two choices of cohort – domestic or global. Both cohorts offer you exclusive opportunities such as travel, company visits, leadership retreats, speaker events, and an introduction to all the David Eccles Business School has to offer.
Domestic Cohort
- Classes taught by top-tier professors from the nine business majors offered at the Eccles School
- Opportunities to work within multidisciplinary teams as you develop your communication and collaboration skills, and discover how different areas of business complement each other
- Winter Sports Day at Utah’s famous ski resorts
- Participation in the Innovation Showcase, where you’ll work in teams to develop a new invention or business venture
- Student support services exclusive to the Eccles School including a dedicated academic advisor and career coach
- Scholarship opportunities
- Company visits locally and nationally to learn more about what type of company and industry you might want to work for
- A 3-day national trip where you’ll visit top companies, network with executives, and participate in cultural experiences specific to that city
- Weekend leadership retreat in Utah
Fee: $1,000 per semester
Fee includes program curriculum, activities, and all-inclusive travel (including air and ground transportation, hotel, food, and cultural experiences).
Global Cohort

- Company visits locally and internationally to learn more about what type of company and industry you might want to work for
- A week long international trip where you’ll visit top companies, network with executives, and participate in cultural experiences specific to that location
- Weekend leadership retreat at an international location
Fee: $2,500 per semester
Fee includes program curriculum, activities, and all-inclusive travel (including air and ground transportation, hotel, food, and cultural experiences).
