Advising

  • Eccles Undergraduate Advising
    Eccles students have dedicated academic advisors. They are here to assist and guide you every step of the way through your educational journey at the Eccles School.
  • Peer Advisors
    Peer Advisors are an excellent resource that can assist you with basic advising matters. They have virtual and in-person drop-in hours.
  • Business Career Success
    Business Career Coaches help you explore your passions and strengths and prepare and support you to land internships, jobs, and careers with top companies.

  • Personal Health Rooms
    Located on every floor of the GARFF Building. Rooms are key-coded. Contact the front desk at (801) 581-7676 to have access added to your UCard.
  • The Meditation Space
    Located in the Union Building (3rd Floor)
  • Housing & Residential Education (HRE) Meditation Space
    Located in Chapel Glen (803, Ground Level)
  • Infinity Chapel and Reflection Room
    Located at the University of Utah Hospital (Level A)
  • Elyse Pantke White Chapel and Meditation Room
    Located at the Huntsman Cancer Institute (5th Floor South)

Safety

  • University Police
    University Police is a division of the University Safety Department, which is led by the Chief Safety Officer. U Police provide services 24/7/365. Call (801) 585-2677, 911 for emergencies.
  • Safe Ride
    Students who don’t feel comfortable walking on campus at night may request a free ride to most locations at the U. SafeRide functions similarly to other rideshare programs like Uber or Lyft, but only operates within university boundaries on weeknights from 6 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
  • Safe U
    The official safety apps of the University of Utah and University of Utah Health, Safe U. It has emergency contacts, campus resources, a virtual friend walk, work-alone check-ins, and more!
  • Protected Escorts
    Many students, faculty, and staff need to be on campus at night or at odd hours. Campus Security provide courtesy escorts, available 24/7/365.
