Rachel holds leadership positions as an ambassador for Business Scholars and Goff Scholars, co-chair at the Institute of Religion, and sits on the ASUU Activities Board.
In our interview with Rachel, she stressed the importance of work-life balance, “Remember to have a life balance. You get out what you put in, so take the harder classes to help you grow faster. School can be stressful, so take the time and enjoy the journey. Every semester, I take a fun non-credit class. The best of which was taking fencing with my little brother.”
Despite being involved in seven different clubs, Rachel follows her advice and has several hobbies outside of school, including traveling, tennis, boating, guitar playing, and skiing. She tries to get involved in things related to her hobbies, such as the Pickleball team and Eccles Global. Some of her favorite college experiences came from these clubs. Her overall favorite memories are playing on the University of Utah’s Pickleball team in the college nationals in Georgia, ranking 23rd in the nation, and studying abroad with Eccles Global.
