Faith Mader is a junior at the David Eccles School of Business, majoring in Marketing with minors in Advanced Financial Analysis and Psychology. Faith is a driven leader, an outdoors enthusiast, and a passionate advocate for student engagement.
When it comes to advice for fellow students, Faith encourages everyone to wake up every day with the goal of living a fulfilling life. Her philosophy is to pursue passions that bring joy while making a positive impact on the world.
Outside the classroom, Faith is always up for an adventure. Whether it’s hiking, skiing, or backpacking, you’ll find her outside making the most of Utah’s landscapes — often with a coffee in hand.
On campus, she is deeply involved in the Eccles School community, serving as the Chief of Student Voice for Business Student Government, and as a member of Chi Omega Sorority and the American Marketing Association. Additionally, she is a Teaching Assistant for the Marketing Department, and a Red Bull Student Marketeer. Through her work in Business Student Government, she leads initiatives like Bites with BSG, and Business Representatives meetings.
“These initiatives focus on gathering student feedback through surveys and conversations, which I share with the Eccles leadership team to drive meaningful change in our business school,” she said.
Faith has made countless memories at the Eccles School, but one of her favorite experiences was traveling to Paris as a Business Scholars Ambassador. The trip blended learning, exploration, and connection. Another highlight of her college experience is the days that include skiing or hiking in the morning, working a BSG event, attending class, and ending the day with friends — finding the balance between adventure, leadership, and academics.
After graduation, Faith plans to spend some time traveling before launching her career in marketing. She is particularly interested in brand management, marketing analytics, and social media engagement. With her ambition, leadership, and love for new experiences, there’s no doubt she will continue making an impact wherever she goes.
If there’s one mantra Faith lives by, it’s this: “Chase your passions in a way that not only brings you joy but also makes a positive impact on the world around you.”
