We’re excited to announce that the Student Organization Spotlight of the Month is the Asian American Pacific Islander Students in Business (AAPI – SIB) organization!
The Asian American Pacific Islander Students in Business organization’s mission is to celebrate the Asian American Pacific Islander community at the David Eccles School of Business. AAPI Students in Business is committed to creating a supportive environment for all students to explore their identities, develop professionally, and feel supported in their academic journeys.
AAPI Students in Business holds bi-monthly events that enrich students’ personal and professional journeys, such as:
- Social Gatherings and Cultural Celebrations that help build a strong sense of community, highlight AAPI heritage, and create welcoming spaces for all students to learn from each other and feel connected.
- Panel Discussions and Industry Professionals who share insights about navigating the professional field, empowering students to explore their unique identities in the workplace.
- Professional Development Workshops that offer hands-on experience with resume writing, skill-building, and career advice to prepare students for success in business.
These events reflect AAPI Students in Business’s dedication to supporting students by creating a safe space where they can explore their goals, build confidence, and take the next steps in their academic and career paths.
