Eccles student Mark Fivaz is a senior majoring in Finance with an emphasis in Fintech. He recently completed a 10-week Commercial Banking Intern Analyst internship with Wells Fargo. Fivaz connected with this internship via an Emerging Finance Professionals company visit. What was your favorite thing about your internship?
The responsibility I was given. For example, I was able to work on multi-million dollar deals underwriting credit reports.
What was the hardest part of the interview process?
It was very competitive. There was a large applicant pool.
What is a piece of advice you would give to fellow students applying for internships?
During your internship, do more than what is asked. Go above and beyond! And when you have opportunities to connect through events and programs like Emerging Finance Professions, focus on networking.
