What was your favorite thing about your internship?
One of the most rewarding aspects of my internship was immersing myself in a new city and getting to know such a diverse group of people. Everyone comes from different backgrounds and is working on different projects, creating the chance to build relationships with mentors and other interns. We developed an environment of personal and professional growth, all while enjoying these new experiences.
What was the hardest part of the interview process?
The most challenging part of the interview process was the Superday interviews, for sure. I was interviewing for two different programs, so it was a total of about four hours of interviews, back-to-back. This was my first time at a Superday, so it was very nerve-wracking, but also a great opportunity to showcase my skills and passions.
What piece of advice would you give to fellow students applying for internships?
Find ways to transition into new environments and step out of your comfort zone while remaining true to yourself! It can be very intimidating to take a big step, but prioritizing your well-being will give you a strong foundation, no matter where you are.
