Orientation and Course Planning for New Students

Welcome to the David Eccles School of Business! We are so excited that you have decided to join us for your business education.

Before starting in the classroom here at the University of Utah, you must attend both Utah Bound (New Student Orientation) and the Eccles School’s First-Semester Course Planning Session. At these events, you will connect with other incoming students, learn about life on campus, meet with academic advisors from the Eccles school, and learn how to get involved on campus.

First-Semester Course Planning
In-Person Utah Bound + First-Semester Course Planning Session

Utah Bound (New Student Orientation) is a required program for all new students at the University of Utah. Students must register to attend this program.

If you attend in person, the First-Semester Course Planning Session will be included within Utah Bound.

Virtual Utah Bound + First-Semester Course Planning Session

If you attended a Utah Bound virtual session, you still need to attend a First-Semester Course Planning Session at the Eccles School.

Missed the First-Semester Course Planning Session?
