The Entrepreneurship major prepares students to create their own business opportunities and ventures. Our top-ranked curriculum will teach students to discover, create and pursue opportunities through the creation of new products and services. Students will develop the diverse range of foundational skills necessary for them to become effective entrepreneurs. The Entrepreneurship major is provided by the Department of Entrepreneurship & Strategy at the David Eccles School of Business. The department also offers electives, certificate and minor in entrepreneurship.
The Entrepreneurship major is highly experiential and hands-on. Students will engage in programs and activities in the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute. They also have the opportunity to live in the Lassonde Studios, one of the most innovative entrepreneurship spaces in the world.
There are 2 paths to admission; students may pursue either track. Students with total GPAs between 3.00-3.19 will be individually considered and admitted on a case-by-case basis. Students with total GPAs below 3.0 will not be considered for the major.
