QAMO Undergraduate Program

Quantitative Analysis of Markets & Organizations (QAMO) majors build analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills by utilizing game theory and econometrics to answer real-world questions. Developed jointly with the University of Utah’s Department of Economics, this major includes advanced courses in mathematics, statistics, economics, and business. QAMO students may also choose optional emphases in business disciplines such as Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, and Operations & Supply Chain.

Eccles Experience in QAMO

Your Eccles Experience as a QAMO major gives you real-world, hands-on experience. The Business Economics Society and the Management Consulting Club prepare you for the job market through workshops and speaker and networking events. Work directly with faculty through the Marriner S. Eccles Scholars program on research projects highlighting economic issues in Utah. And participate in annual student trips such as Week in Washington (D.C.) and Windy City Week (Chicago) to network with policymakers, economists, and management consulting firms.
