Business Fundamentals

Business Fundamentals, also known as BCOR, is an integrative block of five courses covering foundational business concepts. We offer several sections – see schedules below.

Students admitted into Eccles School Upper Division/Intermediate status must earn a passing grade (C- or higher) in all five components of Business Fundamentals: BCOR 3010, 3020, 3030, 3040, and 3050.

BCOR 3010: Accounting

Learn the fundamentals of accounting and its use to interpret financial data.

BCOR 3020: Finance

Provides students with a solid grounding in the basic concepts of finance.

BCOR 3030: Management

Learn management basics such as business organization, ethical decision-making, and stakeholder motivation.

BCOR 3040: Marketing

An introduction to strategies and tactics designed to generate revenue and profit for a firm.

BCOR 3050: Operations & Supply Chain

Examines OSC processes that effectively produce, transform, and deliver a product or service.
