My name is Imran, and I am a Finance major at the University of Utah with an emphasis in Fintech and a minor in Information Systems. I am originally from Oman, and moving to Utah has been an exciting experience that has helped me grow both academically and personally. One thing that defines my time at the University of Utah is curiosity. I enjoy exploring new ideas, meeting new people, and trying experiences outside my comfort zone. This curiosity led me to work campus jobs and learn new skills such as photography, graphic design, and woodworking. These experiences helped me grow, gain new perspectives, and discover new interests. They showed me that growth often comes from being open to what is unfamiliar.

Advice to my peers: Remember that time goes by faster than you think. Try everything while you are here, explore different opportunities, find your hobbies, and step outside your comfort zone. Do what you truly want to do and make the most of your time before it passes.
