From the 2026-27 CEO
My name is Maura Schaff, and I am thrilled to serve as the next Chief Executive Officer of Business Student Government (BSG) for the 2026-27 academic year! I am double majoring in Accounting and Quantitative Analysis of Markets and Organizations (QAMO), and as you can imagine, that means I spend A LOT of time in SFEBB. However, I wouldn’t change it for a thing, because, over the past three years, this school and our community here at Eccles have meant more to me than you could ever know. Freshman year me never would’ve imagined that I would be here now as CEO of BSG, but that is what I love most about the Eccles School – you truly can accomplish your dreams here.
My hope during my time as CEO is to continue providing the resources and support so that all students in our community can achieve dreams of their own. To aid in doing that, BSG revolves around three main pillars: connect, create, and elevate. We aim to connect students to resources, create community, and elevate student voice. I am committed to expanding upon all three of these areas, and hopefully doing so in new and innovative ways. I am hoping to build a team that is also passionate about these three areas, the Eccles School, and has a genuine energy to continue making improvements that outlast our time at the David Eccles School of Business.
My last words to you are simply to apply!! Sometimes taking the step is the hardest part, so if you need a sign, here it is: get started on that application!
I couldn’t be more excited to meet so many of you and hear about why you’re passionate about BSG and more! Thank you for taking the time to apply.
And, as always, Go Utes
