The David Eccles School of Business is a place for students of all backgrounds, and Dreamers in Business (DIB) brings that commitment to life by creating spaces and opportunities for students to find academic support, build connections, and aspire to achieve.
Inspired by her involvement with the Dream Center, Liliana Quinteros created DIB to build a space for students with different immigration backgrounds, including individuals with DACA, TPS, various visas, or an undocumented status. Everyone is welcome to join DIB and be part of a community that supports students navigating college and career paths.
In just its first semester, DIB hosted a variety of events for students to experience. These events include company visits, student socials, and resource workshops. Through these experiences, students get the opportunity to ask questions, build connections, and learn directly from professionals and campus partners.
To continue with the momentum built last semester, DIB has several exciting events planned for Spring Semester. On Feb. 6, 2026, they will host a Dia de La Candelaria Potluck, bringing students together for food and vision board-making.
DIB is also recruiting student leaders to get involved! They are currently hiring a Director of Marketing and Operations. If you are interested, you can apply here by March 2, 2026.
Everyone is a dreamer and deserving of a chance to follow their dreams. If you want to learn more, follow @dib.uofu on Instagram or get involved on Campus Connect.
