What makes the David Eccles School of Business more than just a business school? It is the student organizations that give you the opportunities to get involved, build skills, and open doors for growth. The Wealth Management & Investing Club gives students that opportunity by helping them explore the field of financial planning, wealth management, and investing.
Founded this semester, the Wealth Management & Investing Club was created to give students real exposure to the financial world. Members can participate in a simulated Investing Competition, where they manage mock portfolios and make investment decisions using real-world strategies. This semester, over 250+ students are competing in the Investing Competition!
If you are interested in participating in the Investing Competition, you will have the chance to enter the next competition at the start of the next semester in January.
For those interested in financial planning, the Wealth Management Speaker Series offers weekly sessions with professionals from top firms who share insights about the industry and provide valuable networking opportunities. These speaker series take place every Wednesday from 5:15 – 6:15 p.m. in SFEBB 1170, and there’s always food!
The Wealth Management & Investing Club is quickly becoming one of the most active finance-related organizations at the David Eccles School of Business. It’s led by a passionate board who are eager to help students strengthen their financial knowledge and build meaningful connections.
Whether you’re an experienced investor or just starting to explore finance, the club welcomes everyone! Students can join through Campus Connect, and a Canvas page will be available soon for updates and resources. You can also stay connected through Instagram and LinkedIn.
