How it works

  • This case competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Utah. Participating students will be divided into teams of 2-3 (each team must have at least one business student).
  • Each team will leverage Adobe Express to create the most effective recruiting website using data and assets from Tech-Moms
  • Teams will compete for one week to see which website is the most effective across key judging categories (provided later).
  • Winners will be selected based on judging criteria and prizes will be awarded.

Benefits

  • Gain high-demand skills with Adobe Express, data visualization, marketing, and communication. Don’t know Adobe Express? We will teach you in a workshop and provide one-to-one guidance at Adobe Creative Commons at Kahlert Village.
  • Network with industry leaders. Professionals from Adobe and others.
  • Work with Eccles Career Coaches to prepare for future internships.
  • Participate in a meaningful social cause to support women as they transition into tech and achieve long-term success in their careers.
  • All while having a lot of fun and competing with other teams!

Tech-Moms is dedicated to helping women transition into tech and achieve long-term success in their careers. We do this by offering a part-time technical skills course, professional networking, and a broad range of career exploration through guest speakers. Most importantly, Tech-Moms has built an incredible community of women who celebrate and support each other.

Design Principles Workshop

You don’t need to be a designer to create a compelling webpage with Adobe Express. Join us to learn basic design principles to enhance your fundraising page for the Eccles Adobe Social Impact Challenge. Hear from our University of Utah Adobe Creative Commons Team as they provide tips and tricks for anyone (designers and non-designers) to make their ideas stand out.
