As an Operations Management (OM) student at the Eccles School, you will learn how to work within an organization to oversee the quality and speed of business processes by studying a firm’s profitability. You will also learn how to improve process flows, enhance output quality, and manage the supply chain.
OM students typically pursue careers in service and manufacturing firms to manage the transformation of inputs into outputs. The operations function also plays a role in developing new products and in product pricing. The OM program trains you to think analytically and logically, giving you the ability to pursue any number of business careers.
