This easy-to-follow list will help ensure your application is complete. Failure to include all required documents in the online application will result in an incomplete application. Incomplete applications will not be considered in the admissions process.

Application Deadline
December 1

Graduate Admissions will not waive this fee nor process your application without payment.

Official/ Unofficial Transcripts
Applicants must upload either official or unofficial transcripts from every university previously attended into the online application. If admitted, you will be required to provide official transcripts.

Goals Statement
Applicants must complete a 1-2 page essay that includes their rationale for wanting to enter the Ph.D. program, their research interests, and a discussion of their career intentions upon receipt of the degree.

Resume
Include your current professional resume when you submit the application form.

To apply to our program, you must take either the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Records Exam (GRE) by December prior to the year you would like to begin. Although we will accept both GMAT and GRE scores, the GMAT is the preferred test.

The GMAT institution code is K0R-S3-97. If taking the GRE, the institution code is 4853.

Score reports must be sent directly from the Education Testing Service. Official GMAT or GRE score reports cannot be more than five years old.

International Students

Ph.D. applicants should request three letters of recommendation, either from academic or professional references. The recommendation should provide an assessment of the applicant’s potential in a Ph.D. program and success in an academic career. You will enter your recommenders’ names and e-mail addresses on the application, and an e-mail will be sent to your recommenders asking them to electronically submit your letter.

We will not accept any letters that are not submitted electronically through the Apply Yourself network. In the application, be sure to click “YES” to submit letters online.

To check the status of your application log into the ApplyYourself Application Network.
