Academic Tracks

At the time of application, students must select an area of specialization. Students are considered based on their choice of field and may not apply to more than one specialization area.

A faculty member from each area serves as a Ph.D. Program Committee Representative.

Accounting

The Accounting Ph.D. track trains students to conduct rigorous, economics- and finance-grounded research in areas like financial reporting, managerial accounting, auditing, and more.

Finance

The Finance track provides analytical tools for studying asset pricing, corporate finance, and financial intermediation. Students contribute to research on market efficiency, risk management, and institutional finance.

Information Systems

This track prepares researchers to design and execute independent studies in business analytics, artificial intelligence, and information systems.

Marketing

The Marketing Ph.D. program trains students in consumer behavior and quantitative marketing, preparing them to conduct original research on markets, consumers, and firms.

Organizational Behavior / Management

The Organizational Behavior track develops scholars who study micro- and macro-level organizational phenomena. Topics include leadership, motivational processes, organizational culture, and change dynamics.
