Rand Kerr is a highly respected healthcare industry executive with more than 25 years of healthcare experience including key hospital leadership as well as numerous religious and civic roles.

He began his career as an Administrative Resident at Tulane University Hospital & Clinic in New Orleans. He joined HCA Healthcare in 1996 at St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City as an Administrative Fellow and quickly worked his way up to Assistant Administrator. In 2000, Kerr was promoted as the Chief Operating Officer at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage and then to Chief Operating Officer at St. Mark’s Hospital in August 2004. He was promoted again as Chief Executive Officer at Lone Peak Hospital then to Lakeview Hospital in September 2006 in Bountiful, Utah. Since 2016, Rand has been the Vice President of Operations and Physician Alignment for the HCA Mountain Division in Salt Lake City.

He has served as a regent for the American College of Healthcare Executives, served on the Davis Chamber of Commerce Board and as Chair, served on both the advisory boards for Weber State MHA and the University of Utah MHA programs, and also served on the HCA Healthcare Leadership Advisory Board and the Utah Healthcare Executives Board.
