Dan graduated with an A.A. in Political Science from Santa Barbara City College (2015) and a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of California, Berkeley (2018). At U.C. Berkeley, he discovered his passion for working with students through an extracurricular mentorship program.
Prior to joining the Undergraduate Advising Services team, Dan worked as an educator in public and private schools. He enjoys helping students develop their strengths, reach their personal and academic goals, and make the most out of their college experience.
Dan grew up in rural California near Yosemite National Park. Growing up nearby this incredible landscape, he fostered a passion for hiking, camping and skiing. In the summer of 2021, he set off on his lifelong dream of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and hiked over 1,400 miles in 4 months. He also enjoys reading, board games, basketball, live music and spending time with his partner.
