During Summer Semester 2024, students can earn a full Minor in Information Systems (13 credits) while studying in South Korea and Japan, living for six weeks in each country. Visit tech companies and local businesses and spend weekends exploring incredible sites such as Kyoto, Tokyo, Busan, Osaka, Seoul, and more!
Students are responsible for a current passport.*
Pre-requisites
Students must complete IS 4410 or IS 4411 (with B or better) before Summer 2024. The IS minor is open to all Eccles students (including IS majors) with a University of Utah GPA of 2.0 or higher.

The IS minor teaches students to use technology in bridging all functional areas of an organization in today’s highly competitive business environment. Course subjects include systems analysis and design, database development, networking, and web development.
