Tim Odjav is a Junior studying Finance with an AFA emphasis and a minor in Accounting. He is actively involved throughout campus and the Eccles school, including Opportunity ScholarsFinance ClubAASA, Investment Banking, and Ivory Innovations. Tim also holds leadership positions as the CFO for the Tsang Ticket and as a mentor for the Opportunity Scholars program, where he helps guide first-year students.

During our interview, Tim stressed the importance of getting involved on campus, “The biggest advice that I can give to fellow students is to spread yourself as wide as you can in college. Devote time and energy to clubs and meeting new people. My dad always told me the ‘grass is greener where we water it.’ You’re only in undergrad once, so be happy with being uncomfortable and make the extra conversation or visit. It’ll also pay off in experience and your personal and career life.”

One of Tim’s favorite college experiences was when he went to Los Angeles for the USC vs. Utah game. He said the best part was when the Utes won on a field goal kick to win. He describes it as the “most electrifying game” he has experienced. Another favorite experience of Tim’s was when he traveled to Dallas for his Business Scholars trip and was able to create connections with new people and friends.
