Arriving in Rome in January felt like a rush of adrenaline because it was all so new. I had to figure out a way to travel alone on the first day, which was scary, but I also learned that I am capable of traveling on my own. I loved the opportunity to experience a new culture while living and going to school! Learning abroad gave me the unique opportunity to see Italy and Spain in a way I never would have been able to by just visiting. In Rome, our apartment had a view of the St. Peter’s Basilica and in Barcelona our apartment had a view of the Sagrada Familia!
