We are AAPI-SIB, the Asian American Pacific Islander Students in Business, a student-led organization at the David Eccles School of Business. Our mission is to aid in the promotion and celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander cultures through business, education, and professional development.
Our organization hosts several events each year to connect students of Pacific Islander and Asian cultures. These include our Diversity in Leadership Panel, Lunar New Year Celebration, and Multicultural Gala.
As we continue to develop as an organization and grow our community, we hope to make the Eccles school a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive space for all students at the U. Check out our Pasifika Power & Potential Panel Discussion on Thursday, Nov. 17, 5 – 7 p.m., in SFEBB on the 7th floor in the Bill & Pat Child Family Community Hall! This panel event features Pasifika leaders sharing their wisdom to unite Oceania. Polynesian pastries and refreshments will be provided, so come join us in this monumental evening celebrating the people of the Pacific.
