The Business Administration major provides students with a strong knowledge base across the fundamental disciplines of business: accounting, finance, management, marketing, and operations & supply chain. Graduates possess a mix of business, technical and communication skills required for management and leadership roles.

Admissions Criteria

Admission (BCOR Track A)* Automatic Admission (Legacy) Committee Review**
  • Successful completion of Business Fundamentals (C- or better in all five courses)
  • Admitted to the Eccles School (Upper Division)
  • B or higher in BCOR 3030
  • 3.2 or higher total GPA
  • Minimum 3.0 total and 3.0 business GPAs
  • Admitted to the Eccles School (Upper Division)
  • Admitted to the Eccles School (Upper Division)
  • Not eligible for Conditional Admission or Automatic Admission
  • 2.7-2.99 or higher total or Business GPA
  • Completion with passing grade of BCOR 3030

Track A specifically refers to students in the integrated (BCOR) curriculum. Automatic Admission (Legacy) criteria applies to students in the non-integrated curriculum. To determine which curriculum you are assigned, visit Eccles.link/bcor or email advising@eccles.utah.edu.
