Dr. Bradden Blair is this year’s recipient of the David Eccles Award for Excellence.
One nomination stated: “I’ve been working with Bradden since 2013. I’ve observed several qualities that make him an exceptional leader of the IS programs and here in the David Eccles School of Business, most notably, the excellence with which he works and interacts with others.”
Known for his even-keeled personality and logical, methodical approach, Bradden balances the big picture vision with attention to detail. He has developed the Information Systems programs through a progression of ambitious goals, including enrollment increases, an expansion of certificate and degree options, advisory board support, and growth of program staff to support these advances. Bradden is always looking to the future and brings fresh, new ideas, ready for consideration once previous goals have been achieved.
Bradden is very cooperative while working to reach desired outcomes, interacting effectively with many internal and external constituents. He is energetic and purposeful, generous and fair, and always supportive and optimistic. He is an inspiration and role model at the Eccles School.
