Nominate them for the Leadership in Daniels Fund Ethics Education Award!
The Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative is hosting the awards, which honors University of Utah faculty and staff for their contributions to ethics education during the 2014-2015 school year. Nominations are due by Sept. 25, 2015.
The nominations are broken down into two categories.
Inside the classroom
This award category is for the promotion of ethics education in the context of academic courses taught at the University of Utah. The course syllabus should indicate clearly the ethics-related learning objectives. Examples include new undergraduate or graduate ethics courses, inclusion of ethics module(s) in a full semester course and creation of new cases, exercises, or assignments for a full-semester course.
Outside the classroom
This award category is for the promotion of ethics education outside the context of courses taught at the University of Utah, such as facilitating ethics internships, contributing to the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiatives lecture series or conducting speaking engagements for corporations, non-profits and government agencies in Utah.
