Natalie Roney is a senior public finance economist at the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute. Her research focuses on economic trends and public finance issues, contributing to informed decision-making on matters central to Utah’s economy.

Before joining the Gardner Institute, Roney gained experience in both legislative and nonprofit settings, conducting research for local lawmakers and at the Sutherland Institute. She also gained international experience at a chocolate factory in Belgium.

Roney earned a B.S. in economics from Brigham Young University and a master’s in public policy from the University of Utah.
