Editor’s Note: During the Fall of 2018, David Eccles School of Business students had the opportunity to study abroad in London through the Eccles Global Learning Abroad program. Below are a few students who shared their experiences about taking courses overseas. Check out their Instagram handles for more incredible pictures of their time in London.

“I absolutely loved my time studying in London. I’ve always loved traveling, so when this opportunity to live and study in another country came up, I knew I had to do it! I was able to continue my education, travel all over Europe, experience lots of cultures, and meet some amazing friends. Since then, Eccles Global has continued to provide me with incredible experiences. If you are thinking of studying abroad, do it. Don’t miss out on the chance of a lifetime!”

“Last semester, I chose to study abroad in London. I loved getting to travel around Europe and meet new people. It was a whole new experience, and every day was so exciting! Studying abroad last year was the best decision I’ve made since being in college!”

“Looking back on my Eccles Global semester abroad, it really does seem like an entirely separate life that I lived. It seemed almost too good to be true, but every once in a while I see the students I traveled with back on campus and we talk about the incredible experience that we are all grateful to have had. After returning from a semester abroad, you realize what an incredible opportunity it was. Eccles Global allowed me to immerse myself in a different culture, travel to more than 10 different countries, and all while not skipping a beat in my work toward a business degree. I would recommend that any business student prioritize a semester abroad through Eccles Global. I am willing to bet you come back a different person with a better perspective on both your personal life and others. And of course, you will have fun. I know I did.”
