TEK Club is a student organization at the University of Utah for those interested in the intersection between business and technology. Club members can participate in a wide variety of software and data-related activities throughout the year. These activities are designed to help members learn about careers in tech, improve technical skills, and build a strong network of peers and professionals.
TEK Club currently has 125+ students and is a fantastic opportunity to surround yourself with driven individuals. Every TEK Club event is a networking opportunity! They bring industry professionals for speaker events and workshops and often host company visits.
Every semester TEK Club holds a career fair that introduces members to Information Systems-related jobs and internships. And weekly events give insight into real-life scenarios in the field, including company presentations, alumni speaking about their post-graduation experiences, and site visits to local tech companies. Of course, there’s also always fun in the mix with food, socials, and chances to win prizes.
