Bjorn Johansson is a junior majoring in Operations & Supply Chain at the David Eccles School of Business. He recently completed a ten-week internship with Maverik, Inc.

What was your favorite thing about your internship?
The opportunities available to me during my internship with a large company. I was able to solve world problems that impacted the company in real-time.

What was the hardest part of the interview process?
This was my first internship experience, and it was intimidating to apply for the position. I felt underqualified and wasn’t clear on the direction I should be going in. Luckily, my Business Career Coach, Solomon Lin, was incredibly helpful in making me feel confident about the interview.

What piece of advice would you give to fellow students applying for internships?
Put yourself out there and apply for positions, even if you do not feel qualified. Your Business Career Coach can help you construct a strong resume and prepare you for any position you are reaching for.
