Fashion in Business (FIB) is a student organization at the David Eccles School of Business. Founded in 2020, FIB started as a passion project for Eccles students Zuri Vasquez and Susma Gurung; and with the help of their Career Coach, Marcella Kirschbaum, it became a reality! FIB’s main goal is to “demonstrate the intersection between the business world and the fashion industry,” says Justine Nguyen, CEO. “More specifically, we focus on the four main pillars of sustainability, design, entrepreneurship, and business.” Currently, there are 150 students as general members and seven students on the executive board.

FIB hosts monthly events and hold general meetings on the first Wednesday of every month. A fashion-based community, these events connect people through style and design and provide resources within the Salt Lake City fashion scene. Stay tuned for their upcoming fashion show this semester! FIB is open to all majors and anyone who has a passion for fashion and wants to be part of a creative community.
