Notes:

  • Take BUS 2010/2011 in fall of your first year to see if QAMO is right for you. If you like BUS 2010 but can handle more math, then enroll into QAMO 3010 in spring.
  • If you take BUS 2011 and recieve a B+ or better, your QAMO 3010 requirement will be waived.
  • Take QAMO 4651 as early in your college career as you can. This is the first of a three course econometrics sequence and will set you up to compete for data-intensive summer internships!
  • If you scored well on AP Calc BC Exam: Replace MATH 1210, 1220 and ECON 3640 with Math 3070 and 3080.

Notes:

  • BUS 2010/2011 is a good introduction to many topics addressed by the QAMO major and is recommended for first-year business students who are considering the QAMO major. BUS 2010/2011 is, however, not a QAMO degree requirement and can be bypassed if graduation is a priority.
