More than 100 students recently gathered for Network with the Professionals, an event hosted by the Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) major at the David Eccles School of Business. An ongoing series, Network with the Professionals invites industry experts, thought leaders, and innovators to an open conversation with Eccles School students to discuss career opportunities within the OSC landscape.
Given current challenges to supply chains within multiple industries, the role of OSC has become paramount for organizations. Panelists from Intermountain Healthcare, PepsiCo, Goldman Sachs, HealthEquity, Adobe, Texas Instruments, and Micron spoke about the value of supply chains within their industries and how the OSC degree allows one to transition between a unique variety of roles within their companies. They advised students on how understanding core OSC concepts can provide advantages in the competitive job market.
