‘Dirty jobs’ paper wins Academy of Management Journal Impact Award
Congratulations are in order for Glen Kreiner, professor of Management at the Eccles School. His paper “Normalizing dirty work: Managerial tactics for countering occupational taint,” has won the first Impact Award from the Academy of Management Journal.
The award recognizes AMJ articles that have the potential to make the greatest impact by answering research questions that are important for society. The award committee considered factors such as the importance of management research when the work can positively influence individuals and groups within and outside organizations, has the potential to improve living conditions in the society, shows ways to build or strengthen ties across nations, or provides findings that consider the interests of future generations.
Huge congratulations to Glen on this incredible award!
