The David Eccles School of Business is celebrating its namesake and the values he embodied during David Eccles Week, which kicks off Monday, Sept. 12 and goes through Thursday, Sept. 16.

The biggest event of the week is the Spencer F. Eccles Convocation on Wednesday. It’s the time when you get to hear from a top business thought leader. This year, it’s John G. Stumpf, CEO of Wells Fargo & Company. Tickets are free, but do need to be obtained by visiting Eccles.link/convocation.

Here’s a rundown of the week’s events:

Monday • Legacy

Participate in a scavenger hunt that helps you explore the legacy of the Eccles School. Access the scavenger hunt at Eccles.link/scavenger-hunt.

Tuesday • Perseverance

See how well you can scale a rock-climbing wall in the Emma Eccles Jones Plaza.

Wednesday • Leadership

Hear about leadership from John G. Stumpf, Chairman and CEO of Wells Fargo & Company. RSVP for his 11 a.m. speech in the George S. Eccles Auditorium of the Spencer Fox Eccles Business Building by visiting Eccles.link/convocation.

Thursday • Excellence

Learn about excellent Eccles School extracurricular activities, get some free food, meet University of Utah mascot Swoop, find out more about our U.S. presidential candidates and play carnival games – including the chance to Dunk the Dean! Join us in the Emma Eccles Jones Plaza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
