Housed within the Department of Operations & Information Systems are two distinct fields of study that offer several degree options: Information Systems and Operations & Supply Chain.
This strong curriculum helps students acquire the tools and training to help organizations leverage technology to solve business problems, innovate,
create new products, and achieve strategic objectives.
The Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program offers advanced specialization in security, software and systems architecture, product and process management, and business intelligence and analytics.
Operations & Supply Chain

OIS hosts or co-hosts three winter conferences: the Utah Winter Operations Conference, the Product/Service Innovation (PSI) Conference, and the Winter Conference on Business Analytics at or near one of Utah’s fabulous ski resorts featuring winter activities such as downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, and snow-shoeing.

The Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) Club promotes career-building activities including career development and resume workshops, world-class company visits, networking events with OSC business leaders, state and national case competitions, renowned industry speaker series, and more.
TEK Club members have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of information systems-related activities throughout the year. Club activities are designed to help members learn about information systems career options, improve technical skills, build a peer network, and develop job opportunities.
