Eccles Students Excel at 2023 Salesforce Ideathon
The 2023 Eccles Salesforce Ideathon showcased the excitement, knowledge, and passion of Eccles students for technology and problem-solving. Competing across twenty-one teams, these students showcased their skills in designing and building Salesforce chatbots to address real-world business challenges. The event, hosted by the Information Systems major, concluded with five teams winning cash prizes and one student securing an internship on the spot. According to the UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings, the Eccles School of Accounting places significantly in the Rankings by Journal category, which bases rankings on knowledge creation. When searching for rankings based on the three most prominent accounting journals, The Accounting Review, the Journal of Accounting and Economics and the Journal of Accounting Research, the Eccles School of Accounting has ranked well over the past decade.
