Winners of the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Case Competition announced
Students competed in The Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Case Competition on Friday, Feb. 10, and congratulations are in order!
A team of six outstanding Eccles School students took home the top prize as they applied the ethics they learned from the legacy of business giant Bill Daniels.
The competition featured eight teams, and they had to tackle a real-world ethical dilemma in the workplace. While all the teams put in an incredible amount of effort and presented well, only three teams were named as winners.
Each member of the first-place team won an all-expenses-paid trip to the national competition in Denver later this spring, as well as a $200 clothing stipend, $100 scholarship and a plaque.
The judges for the event came from both private industry and the Eccles School. The judges were Brooke Karrington, Katrina Holt, Melissa Smith, Suzanne Wilson and Reyn Gallacher.
Congratulations to all who participated, and to the Eccles School faculty members Dr. Abe Bakhsheshy and Bill Hesterly for ensuring our students have a strong ethical knowledge as they pursue their business degrees!
