Nearing the close of another academic year means many things – unpredictable weather, summer on the horizon, and the push of another finals season, to name a few. In addition, spring brings the annual Eccles Student Leadership Awards, presented by the BLinc team (the student government arm of the David Eccles School of Business) to recognize students and student groups exemplifying leadership and involvement throughout the Eccles Community.

“The student leadership awards are a way to recognize all of the hard work students have done throughout the year,” said Abukar Hassan, BLinc Event Lead. “It’s also a way to inspire Eccles students as they look forward.”

This year, Eccles School students, faculty, staff, and administrators submitted more than 70 nominations for the eight awards selected and presented by BLinc at an evening dinner ceremony. Surrounded by friends, family, and mentors, winners were honored for their accomplishments and contributions to the Eccles community, Eccles Experience, and the success of the David Eccles School of Business.
