The Business Scholars program at the University of Utah gives high-achieving students an honors-level introduction to the various business disciplines. With an emphasis on experiential learning, Business Scholars work with top faculty members to explore the challenges facing companies in marketing, entrepreneurship, accounting, finance, data analytics, and management. Business Scholars have the unique opportunity to travel regionally and internationally to meet and interact with business leaders from the companies that they study. Business Scholars can take Honors and Business Scholars specific courses, ensuring smaller class sizes and a more personalized experience.
Dozens of scholarships are available specifically for students accepted into the Business Scholars program. Students can apply as incoming freshmen or as transfer students. Additionally, a committed group of faculty members, academic advisors, career counselors, and peer mentors work with students to develop the skills necessary for success in college and the workforce. The goal of the Business Scholars program is to provide students with opportunities for hands-on learning, in addition to creating a sense of community within the larger David Eccles School of Business.
