Master of Business Creation Alumni Association (MBCAA) 

Welcome to the Master of Business Creation (MBC) Alumni Association. This is your organization to continue learning, growing your business, furthering your entrepreneurial goals, attending guest lectures, securing discounts, and more. All graduates of the MBC program at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business are encouraged to join the association and participate. Membership Levels

Free to All MBC Alumni:

Directory of all members (provide in Slack)

Alumni Slack channel

Invitation to guest speakers — limited availability

Discounted pricing to select U of U sporting events

Access to recorded content

Annual social event (member pays to attend the event)


For an Annual Fee of $1,500 per Person Membership Also Includes:

Peer discussion groups on company specific issues (like YPO)

Guaranteed inclusion to guest speakers

Access to program reviewed service providers

Participation in intern recruiting events

Negotiated discounts on hosting, software, etc.

Ongoing strategy meetings with mentoring faculty

Exclusive events with VCs

Annual social event (no additional cost to member)


For an Annual Fee of $2,500 per Company Membership Also Includes:

Dedicated liaison with career services to assist with recruiting and hiring full-time employees

Access to library databases (on campus)

Exclusive events

Inclusion on MBCAA board

Exclusive access to guest speakers


Non-MBC Alumni Annual Fee of $5,000 Membership Includes:

The same benefits as the $2,500 level MBCAA members except not guaranteed to be on the MBCAA board

Must be endorsed on an annual basis by one of the sponsoring member organizations


For an Annual Fee of $25,000 Sponsoring Group Membership Includes:

Signage with the MBC workspace

The ability to endorse up to 3 non-MBC founders to participate in the MBCAA

Ability of the sponsoring group’s employees (up to 4) to participate in any MBCAA activity

Inclusion on the MBCAA Advisory Council
