Madeline (Maddie) is a Hoosier native hailing from Bloomington, Indiana. She received her B.A. in English from Indiana University and her M.S. in Higher Education from Penn State.

As an undergraduate, Maddie was involved in New Student Orientation, the Women’s Student Association, and RHA Judicial Board. She also studied abroad in Japan and England, worked in the Office of Student Ethics, and interned with IU’s English Department and with the scholarly journal “Victorian Studies.” As a graduate student, Maddie was the graduate assistant for the Presidential Leadership Academy and interned with Penn State Development and with Residence Life at St. John’s University in Minnesota. 

Maddie enjoys working with students, especially helping them meet their personal and academic goals. She also enjoys working on her YA book, attending theater and art events, and reading bestsellers.
