Lauren Voorhees

Lauren is originally from Ashburnham, MA. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (2006) from Gettysburg College (2007) and Master of Arts in Teaching from Colorado College. Lauren spent twelve years teaching a range of subjects in secondary and elementary schools in both Colorado and Utah, and developed a special passion for teaching history at the junior high level. She is dedicated to helping students develop their strengths and discover their talents and passions, and joined the Undergraduate Advising Services team in the Eccles School of Business in 2019 as a way to further develop those skills to help students succeed at the university level.

Lauren has lived in Utah since 2011. She enjoys hiking and being outdoors under the majestic open skies of the west. She is passionate about being informed about current events, reading, cooking, puzzles and spending time with her beloved Golden Retriever, Maple.
